recently, not much updates as there's nothing to update! nothing was done for the entire week...hmm...but ID says the doors and the solid top will be in by this week...haiz..
26 Aug: wen & me did something spectacular!!! we REPAINTED the living room's walls....hmmm...always felt the colour was too "yellowish" though it's white..so decided to repaint as white. but due to budget constraints & also the ID's very low sense of urgency, we thought we could be faster than them!
2.30pm: reached home
2.45pm: started painting after covering the floorings, skirting and strategic areas
7pm: finished 50% of the painting (1st coat only...haiz....)
7.15pm: started to sweep & mop the floor.....but ended up cleaning the whole house, including the kitchen, all rooms, toilets, service balcony & even the bomb shelter....
9pm: home sweet home for dinner...
it was a super duper tiring day! cant imgaine cleaning the whole house after handover! also painting not completed yet!! we gave up & may decide to get pple to paint for us though...haha...(cannot make it)
however, several milestones met:
my 1st time wash the toilet bowl! even used my bare hands to clean the toilet bowl as no scrub or other equipments!
my 1st time painting so meticulously
my 1st time so anxious and eager to clean off all paints tainted on the window panes and floorings
my 1st time using my bare hands cleaning the water trap...(sounds gross!!)
at the end of the day, wen & me learned that we will do our best to ensure everything swee swee for our preciour homie...that's a really good start for us......=)

At first i thought it was a "oh no" entry in your blog this time... this is touching and sweeeeet... Home sure will be swee swee one la - by both who love each other and also their home. I bet this house value/ treasury has increased exponentially to both of you after your willing and creative labour =) Next time when i see the toilet and walls, i will also remember the love and heart which has gone into it by the lovely couple... Heehee, take a good break and have a donut! Haha, let them paint it. But i suppose you have fun painting the walls =) If i were you, i would have painted some designs on it and then ya, leave it to the painters to do it because my art work will not make it on the walls too :)
yeah...decided to leave the rest of the painting (mayb of a different colour again...indesicive leh..) to a professional painter! haha...our paiinting really cannot make it...
