it was a real tiring day for me...after a long morning for PSLE oral & tea-cum-high tea with my colleagues, I made my way to my nest...

Today, the alumix guys are coming over to fix one of the drawers which lie too closely to the drawer below.. It was done in a fix & no questions asked! Professional! They changed the drawer & adjusted the height of the board below my box-up area within minutes!! hehe..

Also, our coordinator, B cam over to finalise details of the house for us...he mentioned that hand-over could just be in 2 weeks time! feeling really excited! also, my kitchen's carpentry works will be starting real soon! haha...

we also decided to change the living room's wall colour...felt that it was a bit too yellowish! And this disturbs me alot alot....wen gave in and decided we could change it to a whiter tone...but it could be done bby ourselves to save on the cost...haiz...

Updates for 15 August

So fast mid August already...today the guys came and install my feature wall, TV console and the vanity for my MRB toilet..

It was a DISASTER!! The wrong laminate was used for my feature wall...wen was mad!! He called them up and requested for a re-do....bobian....see they screwed up again!!


The console was OK only...the finishing wasn't good...=( the sides weren't wat we wanted too...haiz haiz haiz....


Even for the vanity for MBR toilet, the laminate was apparently placed at the wrong direction...hmmm....

The sooooooooooo common looking feature wall...wrong laminate used! Also, they didn't give us mirror strips. They promised to replace a new one for us...

Today got surprise visitors to my place when we visited our place after work. It's the guys who's making our shower screens and my tempered glass doors for both my toilets...

Also, the carpentry guys came & we discussed quite abit about our kitchen cabinets...he did also mentioned that by WEDNESDAY, my TV console and feature wall will be upz...cant wait for the day to come.....

11-12 August

It's surprising to see my plumber, electrician & painter working on these 2 weekends...really appreciated it..seems like my house almost completed..keke

My electrician, Mr. Chua promised that all my lightings and switches will be completed by Monday..Howere it seems that there will be a delay...bec my supplier gave us the wrong colour..hmm...

Our toilet bowls are also upz! Really excited abit it bec of my beautiful WC..look out for the pics!

That's all for now....Before we left, the painter made some touch-ups...so painting part almost completed!! very happy with his work too....Mr. Chua say our electric stuff will be completed by Monday...so the last thing to wait for is the carpentry...But my ID, whom I dun even wish to mention in my blog, almost gave us a design which we do not want...Hubby will "settle" with him tml.......

11 August: Alumix Wardrobe

It has been exactly 8 weeks into our reno..and yes, it's still not complete! But there are some progresses! 11 August was an exciting day....my ALUMIX is here...keke...
